The painttechnics smart repair paint element  is designed for the student with very little or no previous experience to learn the basic principles of Small to medium area paint repairs and alloy wheel repairs.

This is the main franchised course of 13 days plus 1 day alloy wheel repairs making up the whole of the 14 days franchised course.

The unique 13 day intensive  course caters for the bumper scuff, rub strip, wheel arch dents and damage,vandal scratch and panel repairs and wing mirror repairs.

Throughout the course the student will learn all aspects of basic preparation, scuff and dent filling and panel/wheel preperation work. Various types of masking, applying basecoats and lacquer application as well as the art of fading the lacquer into the previous manufacterers lacquer to reach a virtually seamless repair.

Our paint training course also enables the student to capitalise on the growing market for panel repairs by teaching small dent filling and vandal scratch repairs.

All courses are taught on a maximum of 2 students per instructor and are all completely hands on.

The 14 days intensive paintwork repairs training covers:

* Colour coded bumper repairs to all makes of cars
* Black texture bumper repairs to both cars and commercial vehicles.
* Colour coding of black textured trims to vehicle colour
* Wing mirror casing repairs
* Exterior textured trim repairs and plastic welding
* Full panel repairs
* Small dent filling

* Mid panel fade out techniques

Where possible we will try to get the student out in the mobile workshop to perform at least 2 mobile repairs, to gain real world working conditions, even in the rain!
