Part of the Smart paint course as day 14 this 1 day course intensive instruction in alloy wheel repair, will see the franchisee/student fully compliant in alloy wheel repair and refinish techniques.
Smart Alloy wheel repairs are usually carried out on the vehicle therefore leaving both the tyre on the alloy and the alloy on the vehicle .
The repairs taught are generally cosmetic repairs and can be completed within the hour by the trained technician.
Students will be taught all elements of alloy wheel repair from preparation, sanding, special alloy wheel filling techniques, masking, priming, painting and instruction in special alloy wheel lacquer processes.
The student will also learn how to repair just the damaged part of the wheel allowing for a faster and cheaper consumables repair.
